Newly Renovated, Private Oasis!- AC for summer months! This one bedroom cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple looking for a get-away. Overlooking one acre of rolling hills with signature Block Island stone walls, this delightful cottage offers privacy and the Island's best stargazing. Located just over a mile to downtown and the beach, it is easy to enjoy all Block Island has to offer. Walking distance to Greenway Hiking Trails as well as New Harbor, the cottage provides a convenient home base for exploring what The Nature Conservancy refers to as "A last great place."The cottage offers one bedroom with a queen sized bed (with a very comfortable mattress) and a love seat in the living area. **All sheets and towels (plus beach towels) are included. A high-top table is also in the open living area. There is a full bathroom with a large tiled shower, as well as an attached private hot/cold outdoor shower. There is also a deck with a bistro set as well as a gas grill for outdoor cooking. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven/stove top, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and teapot. We also have AC for the summer season! All household products, including: soap; plastic wrap; aluminum foil; paper towels; etc. are provided.So, just pack your bathing suit and flip flops and enjoy! If it is your first time on Block Island or your thirtieth, we look forward to making your experience a truly memorable one. PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional 8% tax on rentals in Rhode Island as well as a 1% Block Island tax.
