Enjoy hiking, biking, cross country skiing, birdwatching, canoeing and fishing, or simply relax and do nothing at the splendid 4000 square foot home which is decorated with sturdy antiques consistent with the home's late 19th century architecture and not the least bit stuffy. Extensive woodwork, and original chestnut paneling run through much of the house. Six bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The chef's kitchen includes a commercial 8 burner 2 oven range, 2 sinks and a subzero refrigerator. And the kitchen is fully stocked with high quality cookware. The home is located in the hamlet of Peakville and was built by the Peak family. Just bring clothes. and food/drinks. Linens, and towels, are freshly washed and beds made for every group. We have a good supply of herbs, sugar, salt and pepper for your use.
