Sebring is also home of the Sebring International Raceway! It's owned & managed by IMSA Properties, a subsidiary of NASCAR. Not only is the "12 Hours of Sebring" classic held annually, but there are many other racing events held throughout the year. Sebring is one of the most active racetracks in the world. Many spectator events take place at Sebring International Raceway each year. Do you enjoy shopping & dining? Sebring has both. There are lots of department stores & locally owned shoppes. When you're ready to eat, there's popular restaurants & locally owned eateries too. Some of them offer spectacular water views.For those that enjoy the finer things, there are several award-winning wineries within 15-20 minutes away. Some of them offer tours, free sampling, and special events, guaranteed to have you take home a bottle (or two). Maybe watersports are your thing. Sebring is surrounded by lakes. Some of them are so large you'd think you were at the beach. Jet-ski's, boating & fishing are all available as local bookings are only a phone call away. There are also several man-made beaches if you just want to go for a swim or sunbathe. Watching the sunset while at one of these lakes is picturesque, so be sure to take your camera with you.If you're into parks, Sebring offers both a nature park (Highlands Hammock State Park) as well as city parks, with one (Sebring Circle Park) located right in the middle of downtown. At the nature park you can go hiking on the trails and will most likely see wildlife, so beware of the gators. At the Sebring Circle Park, you can grab a bite at one of the surrounding local eateries.Since Sebring is centrally located in Florida, theme parks & attractions are not too far of a drive away.
