The Mountain Lodge | 8 Bed, 3.5 Bath OverviewThis five thousand square- foot lodge is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with those important people in your life. Our beautiful family room is filled with natural light, while a well- appointed kitchen awaits your culinary adventures. We have seven bedrooms, a loft with five bunk beds, and three and a half baths, with the second floor bath sporting a luxury shower. The outdoor kitchen has a gas and a charcoal grill and a gorgeous patio with a fire ring. There is a brand new basketball court for your enjoyment as well. Be sure and bring your own basketballs, as there are non at the lodge. There is no TV in the lodge.Please be aware that is your trip will be in the winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is recommened. Fifteen minutes from the lodge is 923-acre Little Buffalo State Park, offering hiking trails, Holman Lake, a grist mill & Blue Ball Tavern Museum. It is a lovely place to enjoy God's creation. Also, about fifteen minutes from the lodge is the Juniata River. The second largest tributary of the Susquehanna River, is a slow moving, low gradient river ideal for paddling, and is an angler’s dream. the Juniata River flows through a picturesque valley offering visitors a chance to explore the area’s wide fertile valleys, small towns, and the natural heritage of the region.
