The Getaway Cottage at Rocky Marsh Farm The Getaway Cottage is a two bedroom 2 bath home located in a country setting yet only 3.5 miles from downtown Shepherdstown. It is a short ride to everything you want to do in the eastern panhandle area, including wonderful dining, hiking, white water rafting, and kayaking. Harpers Ferry is a short drive just 15 minutes away. After a day of sight seeing and adventure, The Getaway Cottage is a great place to call home.The house is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. We provide Sling for cable TV and have fast internet. The yard provides an open but private space for guests to relax and enjoy the front patio, grill, and fire pit.Guests are also provided with full linens for bed and bath, cleaning supplies, a fully stocked kitchen, microwave, blender, and kitchen essentials. We also provide soap, shampoo, and conditioner (in case you forget yours!) The beds have soft memory foam mattresses, and there will be bottled water in the fridge upon your arrival. Additionally, we have a Keurig and an assortment of coffee pods and teas for your convenience.
