It’s on a quiet street with waterfront views framed by large peaceful trees; we had a great time kayaking on the lake and making family dinners. It was a dream of mine to sit with my dad and have morning coffee while enjoying a light breeze overlooking the lake. The lake community is very quaint and there is a general store close by the house. The neighbors are all very sweet! Besides robust views of the water, my other favorite feature of the house was the shower upstairs on the hallway- so fun with the river rock like tile! The house had great cookware and ample stock of spices. I also liked the quality of the linens. The owners stated in their book that they rented yearly on the lake for the past couple of decades and it shows they understand what guests are looking for. The binder with recommendations for things to do and places to eat was extremely helpful. We also enjoyed how friendly the neighbors were, who also had helpful recommendations for dinner spots and local hikes.
