The area is home to the longest stretch of uninterrupted beaches in Rhode Island and multiple seasonal festivals at Ninigret Park. In addition to the ocean, there are two tidal ponds Ninigret and Quonochontaug providing, boat launching, miles of sandy dunes for 4 wheeling, exploring, kayaking, wind surfing, surf fishing and quahogging!! Its located near the beach community as well as the golf community. The fall brings cozy fires, peaceful walks on abandon beaches with views of Block Island and sunsets you’ll have all to yourself.The farmhouse built in 1865 has been updated with all of today’s modern features and is brilliantly appointed with pastel interiors, cascading light, and refreshing coastal breezes for maximum relaxation. The ground level includes a huge hardwood plank floors, kitchen & pantry equipped with Viking stove and two full size refrigerators for cooking enthusiasts and all culinary adventures. The main dining room seats 10 with French doors opening to a field stone patio. There are two spacious family rooms (a great room and a large living room) Level one is rounded out by a full bathroom and laundry/utility room. The second level contains four spacious bedrooms and sleeps 8. The third level contains two spacious rooms with two full size beds. All beds are adorned with cotton linens for a cozy farmhouse sleep experience. Additional sleeping quarters are available in the family room which has 2 pull out couches. Located a short distance from the beach, this enchanting coastal home offers a delightful escape for those seeking the perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort. Enjoy morning coffee or a leisurely afternoon on the large farmers porch or chatting with family and friends in the great room. The sprawling and well-manicured grounds are ideal for small events like cookouts, family gatherings, weddings and retreats of all kinds. We are here to assist with the creation of memorable gatherings for multi-generational family cookouts & reunions. All events must be a discussion with the owner.
