4BR, 3.5 BA Home The Oaks Come and enjoy the nature, adventure, beauty and comfort of The Oaks! The history of The Oaks goes back to the mid 30’s when the core of the current cabin was built as a summer home from property timber and stone. Over the next several decades a beautiful cedar three level structure was added over the original cabin, and three decks were added to give it its unique charm today. From the rooftop deck hear the birds call, the oaks rustle or just relax and soak in the sun. Let the kids play on the play set while you enjoy the hammock. If you’re more energetic, or more likely, if they are, ? explore the 2 marked trails that wind around the grounds. Don’t forget to swing on the tree swing down the hill, or the 2 person swing overlooking the pond. Or maybe it’s a game of basketball with the teenagers. Most folks, small and large, enjoy fishing the pond with stocked 2 lb. catfish as well as smaller bass and bluegill.
