Not really a great place for small children/toddlers though... lots of stairs and not "child-proofed" in any way....also there are lots of expensive "breakables". Just not suited for rambunctious loud kids. Most of my neighbor in this little condo complex are older, quiet, serene, and lovely. They like their quiet evenings at home, and as kind and considerate guests you will need to respect that and do likewise. If you are looking for a "party" house, keep looking please.One small, well behaved dog is allowed (with additional fee). What do I mean by "well behaved"? By that I mean a small dog that doesn't get nervous and chew on furniture, linens, carpets, etc. One small dog that is COMPLETELY house trained and doesn't pee in the house to mark his/her "territory". Doesn't bark and disturb the neighbors all night when you go out or when you are at home. Please don't get me wrong. I love all animals (I have one myself), but I am a responsible pet owner and expect the same from you if you want to stay in my house. I never blame the animal for being who they are. But I DO blame bad "pet parents" for not training their little friend sufficiently and allowing their furry friend to be loud and destructive. Not okay. If you have any doubts about how your little friend will adjust to a strange, new environment... then please look for another place. My house is a "no bad behavior" zone :) Thanks for understanding!The HOA rules forbid more than 6 people to occupy the townhouse at any time. Strictly enforced. This is a peaceful, very well maintained little condominium complex with quiet and respectful mostly retired neighbors. It is just not a place for big loud groups. But if you are looking for a peaceful, sophisticated, and serene getaway with stunning ocean views and surrounded by beautiful furnishings and art then Cove Place is just the place for you! Cove Place is located in the quaint town of Depoe Bay on the dramatic, beautiful, and interesting Oregon central coast. About 2 hours from Portland. Newport is 15 minutes to the south, and Lincoln City is 15 minutes to the north.Wonderful restaurants, shops, harbor, cliff walk, whale watching, crabbing, tide pooling, etc. right outside the front door....or a short 5 minute drive away.Beautifully furnished, elegant and romantic. 1850 square foot townhouse on the central Oregon coast in Depoe Bay. Sleeps 6 people maximum. No flea market/garage sale/thrift store furnishings here! Furnished almost exclusively with Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, and Gump's San Francisco. Some early/mid 19th c. English, American, and Asian antiques mixed with contemporary pieces. Vintage early 20th c. French advertising posters. High thread count 100% cashmere throws in every room. Just beautiful and elegant everywhere you look.Very, very clean. All furniture, mattresses, high thread count linens, down comforters, quality Crate and Barrel dishes, Reidel stemware, gas appliances, 55 inch flat screen Smart HD/TV with ROKU. everything you need and everything is new and in excellent condition! There is a powerful WIFI signal throughout. The smart TV doesn't have cable but with the powerful WIFI you can stream your own Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube services easily directly to the TV! Very important: BE SURE TO LOG OUT OF ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL STREAMING ACCOUNTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE ON YOUR LAST DAY! I will not be responsible for any future guests using your streaming services if you don't take the time to log out of them before you leave on your last day. There is a baby grand piano in the living room. There is an extensive 150+ DVD library, as well as books and music CD's to browse through. There is no 'land line' telephone, so be sure to bring your cell phones! Gorgeous ocean and sunset views. See photos!The ground level features an entrance hallway and a bedroom with a queen sized bed and private attached bathroom. The middle level is a spacious open floor plan and has the living room, dining room, three decks with views, well stocked/gourmet kitchen, and powder room. Beautiful Restoration Hardware reclaimed wood dining table that seats 6. Kitchen counter island with 3 barstools.The third level has a master suite with spectacular ocean view, brand new (September 2022) king sized Temperpedic bed and also a beautiful bathroom. A second master suite with a queen sized bed and private attached bathroom and a view of the coastal mountain range. Laundry room on this level as well. The dining room table seats 6. There is a granite island in the kitchen with three barstools. There are two small "Juliet" balconies off the kitchen, and a nice deck off of the living room with lovely ocean and sunset views. The kitchen is fully stocked with every conceivable pot, dish, appliance that you would need (cooking is a hobby of mine so I keep it well organized and complete). GE gas oven and stovetop, plus a built in microwave. Brand new (October 2022) Bosch 'French Door' style refrigerator with ice maker. All appliances are stainless steel and less than 5 years old! On the top floor there is a new washer/dryer (please use only the high-efficiency detergent and overflow will result from using regular detergent). A professional cleaning service after every rental will ensure that top cleanliness and maintenance standards are guaranteed. It is a short (and beautiful) ten minute walk to the shops, restaurants, harbor, whale-watching boats, and deep-sea fishing boats in Depoe Bay. There is also plenty of whale watching from the living room balcony, or the master bedroom, or the shore, or the cliffs, or the sea wall in 'downtown' Depoe Bay. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (Napa Valley wine country) but my good friend Autumn manages my property in Depoe Bay for me. She lives very close by and is always available for questions. Autumn is on the Depoe Bay Town Council and very knowledgeable about the town and things to see and do! She is always on the lookout to repair any wear-and-tear damage at my place, make improvements, and keep everything spotless and in excellent working order! I intend to retire to Cove Place someday soon, so I keep everything in the townhouse in pristine condition.I hope you have a wonderful time on the Oregon coast!
