Ventura Pines Cabin is a stunning custom log home constructed of solid white cedar, is the epitome of rustic elegance, recently renovated and well appointed. The large 18 x 36 heated pool is available for your private and exclusive use. This is the sister property to Ventura Pines Cottage, which is located within easy walking distance across Lakeshore Drive 1000 feet to the north. Ventura Pines Cabin is situated on 1.22 wooded acres on the east side of Lakeshore Drive and has a cozy and comfortable ambiance even though it is spacious with about 3500 square feet of living area. A vacation at the Cabin allows for you to enjoy the water in two different ways, as there is both a large 18 x 36 in ground, private, heated, swimming pool, as well as close proximity to many Lake Michigan beaches and a lake access within walking distance. Ventura Pines Cabin can sleep up to 12 people and has 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The living room has a soaring tongue in-groove ceiling, two story gas fireplace, stained glass windows, leather couches, and 40 inch LCD TV. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area have oak flooring, hickory cabinets with granite countertops, built in desk, and triple French doors to large deck overlooking the park like backyard. The dining room opens to both the kitchen and living room and has a dining table that extends to seat up to 10 people. A laundry/mudroom is conveniently located right off the kitchen, as is the 'cabana bath' with door to deck & swimming pool. Also on the main floor is a master bedroom, guest bedroom, and bathroom with whirlpool tub, stone and glass shower, marble counter, and heated tile floor. Upstairs is a wonderful and sunny loft area that overlooks the living room, another laundry room with stackable Washer/Dryer, two more large bedrooms, a special kids only attic style bedroom/playroom, and bathroom with 6 foot tub/shower and stained glass window featuring a sailboat. There is plenty of space to spread out as the walkout lower level has a family room, half bath and bedroom area that has 2 double beds and a twin bed, perfect for older kids who would like their own space. Adjacent family room in basement has blue sectional couch, ping pong table, pool table, airhockey, booth style table, TV with XBox and XBox games and sliding glass door to back yard. The basement also has a 2nd full-size refrigerator. Enjoy the extensive area bike path system on the bikes that are also available for your use, including adult and youth bikes, and a bike trailer that seats two little kids. There are several parks nearby that offer beach access, playgrounds, fields and picnic areas. BEDS: There are plenty of beds to go around! 3 rooms have 1 queen bed each, 1 room has 3 doubles, kids room has 2 twins under sloped ceiling, basement has two doubles and a twin. Make your next vacation a VENTURA one! Also available for time frames tailored to your needs in the off season at reduced rates. PLESSE PLEASE NOTE: Park Township is disallowing all short term rentals after 10/1/23. Ventura Pines Cabin will be available for a minimum lease term of 28 days or longer after 10/1/23. Although your lease will be for a minimum of 28 days, you are free to come and go as you wish and are welcome to have friends and family as guests on the lease, whether to overlap or to join you alternating weeks, etc. RATES AFTER 10/1/23 will be as shown below, and will be based on a 28 day minimum lease period: January: 2,900February: 2,900March: 2,900April: 3,500May: 5,000June: 15,000July: 20,000August: 15,000September: 7000October: 4,000November: 2,900Discounted rates may apply for smaller groups or if plan to vacate early on the 28 day lease.
