Located in Alleghany County, 15 minutes from downtown Sparta, this attractive vacation home has enough space for a large family or group and also welcomes dogs (under 35 pounds). Crazy Like a Fox was originally built as a model home, with well over 3000 square feet, massive windows and high ceilings for a welcoming sense of spaciousness. Northern white cedar, large hand-hewn beams, and heart hickory flooring throughout provide a woodsy ambiance. Set on over an acre of landscaped yard, with layers of mountains beyond, this home is perfect for both indoor and outdoor living.The heart of the home is the huge great room, featuring an exquisite floor-to-ceiling river rock gas fireplace, flanked by a wall of windows that bring the view inside. The dining room, in turn, is adjacent to the large chef's kitchen, appointed with hickory cabinetry, granite counters, and a spacious island with a downdraft cooktop. This kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and everything else you need for entertainment and meals at home. There's also a half bath on this level, for guests.The spacious master bedroom is also conveniently located just off the great room.
