Beautiful Upstate New York Farmhouse for up to 7 Guests Surrounded by farms and pastures yet only seven miles from Hudson, NY, our well-appointed farmhouse is perfect for families or friends seeking relaxation and country fun. The property sits on 4 acres with a small trout stream running behind it and is across the road from an organic apple orchard. There is ample space to rest and relax, with all the comforts of home. The home is located on a quiet country road in Ghent, NY and is neighbored by beautiful farms. We are within easy access to Hudson (7 miles), Chatham (8 miles), and Hawthorne Valley Farm (which has the best grocery store on earth! 5 miles). There are also 2 great restaurants in nearby Philmont (2 miles) and and excellent lunch place in Ghent. Skiing at Catamount is 15 miles away, with the Berkshires reachable in under an hour.There is an Amtrak station in Hudson with easy access to NYC. The house is located just off of the Taconic State Parkway and is a 2.5 hour drive from NYC or Boston.There are three bedrooms.
