All knotty pine, open airy floor plan with lots of windows, a very large first floor master bedroom with updated new master bath, a large open living room, a first floor office, a gorgeous lakefront kitchen, half bath down brand new full bath up, with additional large upstairs bedrooms. There is a large deck facing the lakefront, a large front porch, and a fenced back yard. Our home is a charming, cozy and immaculate vacation home that will accommodate up to six people. Located in Vermilion, Ohio, our home is located in the historical lakefront neighborhood of Vermilion on the Lake. Down the street from our home is a large neighborhood playground and park (SHOWSE PARK) for the kids, with a neighborhood beach, basket ball court, tennis court, a soccer field and a kayak launch. A local YMCA is within walking distance for your early morning workouts. So spend a day at Cedar Point and then head off to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and visit the many sites of Cleveland (USS Mather, the USS Cod submarine, the many nightclubs in the Flats by the Cuyahoga River, the Science Museum, or catch an Indians game). The next day just sit on the deck or porch with a book, go to the neighborhood beach, or take a trip into downtown Vermilion. And always - just hang around and watch the sun set. The combinations and possibilities are endless. This enchanting little town has always been a seaside community with a New England style atmosphere. This is the kind of town that still has a working soda fountain, a town square and summer concerts on the green. People here actually sit on their front porches on a summer evening. Rated by Readers Choice Awards as one of the top seaside vacation towns in the US, Vermilion is the crowning jewel of the south shore of Lake Erie. From quaint shops to fine dining, the arts, entertainment and unmatched festivities, Vermilion truly has it all. The Vermilion River, which flows into Lake Erie, provides for marina facilities with more than 1,000 boat slips and ramps for easy access to the Lake, earning Vermilion the title of the “Largest Small Boat Harbour on the Great Lakes.” Public docks are within walking distance of multiple attractions - shops, restaurants, and a variety of art galleries.
