Today, it still retains its rustic charm and has been fully updated with all of the amenities a modern traveler needs!-- THE PROPERTY --Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Lakeside Loft: Queen Bed, Twin Bed | South Side Loft: Queen Bed, Full BedThe interior of this log cabin features exposed wooden beams, hardwood floors, and a wood-burning stove. It's the idyllic rustic retreat! Wake up and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee on the large front porch. Listening to the loons call and watching the sunrise over the treeline is the best way to start off your day.If you were able to reel in any fish during the day, you can cook them up in the fully equipped kitchen! The kitchen boasts all of the appliances you need to prepare your favorite home-cooked meals. Enjoy your meals in the sunroom overlooking the tranquil waters. After dinner, you can break out one of the board games and reconnect with your loved ones. On pleasant evenings, gather 'round the firepit in the backyard to roast marshmallows and tell campfire stories. After sunset, you're sure to see all of the constellations in the night sky. Once it's time to call it a day, all 8 guests will have a comfortable place to lay their heads! Two guests will sleep comfortably in the full-sized bed in the bedroom, there are also 2 lofts upstairs which each feature a full-sized bed and a twin-sized bed.-- THE LOCATION --There's no need to leave the comfort of the property during your getaway! The cabin is ideally located on the shores of Lake of the Falls. You can take the provided canoe or kayak out for a spin on the lake, or simply swim off the dock in the refreshing water. Mercer has no shortage of things to do once the temperature starts to drop! The house cabin is located on a snowmobile and ATV trail, which provides hours of entertainment all winter long. If you'd rather take it a bit slower and enjoy Mother Nature, there is another trail close to the property called Mecca Trail and is great for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing! When you grow tired of cooking or grilling at the cabin, take a short walk down to Dear Lodge to grab a few brews and some tasty pizza.
