This cabin is located just 5 minutes from downtown Chama in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by tall ponderosa pines. Enjoy the outdoors whether it is relaxing on the wrap-around covered deck or recreating in the Sargents Wildlife Area. There is a fireplace, outdoor fire pit, horsehoes, and grill for guests to enjoy as well. Wildlife are often spotted around the property, including deer, turkeys, elk and the occasional bear.We are available by phone if the guest needs help and a short drive away in case of emergency. The cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood just barely outside of downtown. Guests feel like they are in the country but only a minute away from restaurants and amenities. The neighborhood is in the middle of a large ponderosa pine forest, which keeps it very cool in the summer.Guests will have access to all amenities located on the property.**ALERT**NO A/CBedroom 2 is technically a loft and upstairsThere are 4 steps to get to the front doorLocated on a dirt roadWINTER: Guests should be prepared to have 4WD or chains if coming in the winterThis 1100 square foot cabin is the perfect getaway for those looking for a quiet retreat in the mountains. The inside of the cabin is small but has everything guests need and the fully wrapped around deck with patio furniture is a great place to enjoy the wonderful mountain weather that we get in Chama. Or stay inside and get a fire going in the wood burning stove. There is enough parking for those pulling trailers to haul horses, ATV's, or snowmobiles.
