The bedrooms have a queen bed in the master and two singles in the second bedroom, while the couch pulls out to a comfortable full size bed. The back porch has a gas grill and overlooks the lake where you can relax and enjoy coffee in the morning and sunset views over the mountains in the evening. Just a few steps down to the boathouse and dock you'll find a great swimming area, a roof top seating deck overlooking a wide expanse of the lake along with two kayaks and a canoe for your use.The landscaped back yard features rockwork of two patios and a staircase, a ground base of ivy with rhododendron and dogwood, and a level lakeside seating area with a fire-pit. The entire yard is enclosed with a pet fence and we welcome up to two small dogs per stay.This spectacular cabin offers plenty to draw travelers looking to vacation in Lake Lure, nestled within the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
