The spacious great room features a gorgeous mountain view, vaulted ceiling, gas log fireplace, and a deck walkout as the main attraction. The great room is a socializing haven! Stocked with frequently requested items, you will love the open kitchen with upscale appliances. On this main level lies a master bedroom with a deck walkout. This home is sure to please, from family holidays to travel opportunities with friends. Need to get some work done? There's a desk in the loft, and the Internet works great! Two queen bedrooms share an upscale bathroom off the loft. Both rooms have mounted flat-screen TVs, and the room nearest the top of the stairs has a lovely lake and splendid mountain views. The other bedroom is spacious, bright, and light!The lower level at The Bears Castle was designed with fun and convenience in mind! Here, you'll find a full bathroom, a laundry room, and a second kitchen complete with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink. This level has a bunk room to accommodate your sleeping needs: one full, twin, and two queen beds. There is also a semi-private queen bedroom (open at ceiling level). Ready for some competition? Try out the six-person air hockey table, pool table, ping pong table, skeet ball, and pinball machine before relaxing on the wrap-around deck. The beautiful fireplace and a flat-screen TV seal the deal to make this your one-stop shop for destination "fun!".AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2024, through the first quarter of 2024(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
