Abilene Family Farmhouse Oplin House is a curated four bedroom, three bathroom farmhouse for stargazing, sunset watching, making family memories or just getting away. We're located in Oplin, Texas, 30 minutes from Abilene, 3 hrs from Dallas, 3.5 hrs from Austin. Perfect views of sweeping landscapes from every room. Downstairs primary bedroom equipped with king-sized bed and daybed with trundle for snuggling up with a favorite book or allowing kids to sleep in the room with you. Large primary bathroom features a claw-foot tub, separate shower, his and hers sinks and a separate toilet room. An additional downstairs bathroom near the living room features a standing shower combo and plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Upstairs find three well-appointed guest rooms. Two feature queen beds, large closets, luggage racks and seating. Large windows on the second floor showcase beautiful country views. Enjoy crisp all-white bedding and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The third upstairs bedroom has a bunk bed that's a twin on top and double on bottom and is outfitted with kids in mind. Find toys, books and games (specifically for kids age 0-5), safety locks on windows and baby gates provided to keep kids secure. This room also features black-out curtains. The upstairs bathroom features a tub/shower combo and plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Oplin House was stocked and furnished with kids in mind. Safety features like baby gates and window locks are provided, but also enjoy amenities like bath toys and dishes specifically for kids. Also stocked with basics like baby sunscreen and infant Tylenol for your convenience. The well-equipped kitchen is the perfect place to prepare large meals for the entire group. The large kitchen is stocked with pantry basics and has plenty of appliances to make cooking a breeze. Linger over long meals from indoor, outdoor and screened-in dining spaces. The sun-drenched breakfast nook is a great place for coffee, but you may prefer the wraparound porch in the front of the home or the screened-in porch facing the backyard, too. The main dining table seats 8, the screened-in porch seats 6, a bar top in the kitchen seats 3 and the breakfast nook seats 4. The open floor-plan allows guests to easily enjoy meals together while spreading out. Need to get some work done while you're at Oplin House? Downstairs, find a private library with a desk, rolling chair and a large reading chair. Browse a collection of books in the library to find something to occupy you on your trip.
