Walk to Corolla Village and the Beach! Welcome to "The Live Oak"! This dog friendly cottage is in a new oceanside community, only a 5 minute walk to the beach! Walk to nearby restaurants, Corolla Park and Corolla Village within 3-10 minutes! The community features a pool which is available seasonally (mid May to mid October)! Whether you choose to enjoy beach time, a visit to the Lighthouse, a short walk to dinner or to pick up a fresh cup of coffee, we've got you covered! This Dog Friendly Vacation Getaway is the perfect place for you and your family and friends to create amazing beach memories!NOTE - NEW CONSTRUCTION: This is a new home in a new Community. Our unit is was completed in July 2022. Because of our location on the corner of the property, you should still be able to access the beach and nearby attractions and restaurants in Corolla with minimal disruption.We do ask that guests stay out of the construction area during their stay. Sidewalks can be used to easily access the beach and other area attractions without any need to walk through construction areas.Several guests have shared with us that their experience has been very positive! However we recognize that it may not fit everyone's needs at this time. If this sounds like a good fit for you and your family, we'd love to have you stay! We're also happy to answer any questions in the meantime!ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPACE AND LOCATIONThis is a two-bedroom located within walking distance from the beach, Corolla Village and sound-side Corolla Park, where you can enjoy wildlife, kayaking and beautiful sunset views. We are also situated next to an airdown station, and just a few miles from the 4WD beach access, the wild horse sanctuary and Carova. Several restaurants and shops are within walking distance, a unique and convenient experience in Corolla!The unit features two king beds and a queen pull out sofa. There is one ensuite bathroom, as well as a second "jack-and-jill" style bathroom, with access to the hall and second bedroom, which can easily be treated as a second ensuite. Perfect for couples or families and dog friendly!The living space features an 8-foot island, with plenty of space to enjoy dinner with family and friends, play games or work remotely! It also features a fully stocked kitchen, with a dishwasher, blender, coffee pot/maker and plenty of cookware. A washer/dryer is located in the hallway closet. There is a private patio in the front where you can let towels dry after a long day at the beach. A grill and outdoor shower are also available on the side of the unit.The development features a community pool, open mid May to mid October. It is heated when the air temperature is cooler. Poolside cabanas (managed separately) are available for rent.
