Whether it's weekday kayaking with the kids or long sunny weekends on the water with friends, you'll feel invigorated, the kind of "good tired" you feel in your bones. Boathouse Cove features a meticulously landscaped, gently sloping lawn that leads to 234 feet of shoreline, a private dock, and covered boat slips (pontoon available for rent), plus a pool. The outdoor area also has a 6-person hot tub on an elevated deck with amazing lake views. Reservations might be needed for these coveted six seats! Extensive water views extend across to a natural preserve with a rare unobstructed Lake Norman wooded view.Upon entering Boathouse Cove through the slate rocking chair front porch, you are greeted by a large living room and foyer. Once inside Boathouse Cove, you will immediately get a sense of the great entertaining space, which consists of an open-concept layout that brings together the living area, dining area, breakfast room, and kitchen. The living area hosts couches dedicated to providing comfort – an intimate feeling that is completed by the indoor fireplace. The stonework and woodwork in this fully custom home will have you constantly in awe, not to mention the stunning view of the lake from any seat you choose! The best two seats in the house are the window seats with amazing lake views and a perfect reading nook! The main living space is full of natural light, which promises an open and airy atmosphere that also makes for a great place to spend the day!The kitchen is spacious and includes a glass cooktop, double ovens, and a large island complete with 6 bar stools. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need during your stay, including a Keurig & drip coffee maker! The dining area is set off in the back of the kitchen. It is furnished with seating for 8 and invites your group to sit down to meals for special occasions or to simply look your best and enjoy each other's company. Off the kitchen area is another seating option in the breakfast room, equipped with couches, a mini-fridge, a bar, a TV, and great views of the pool and the lake!As you settle into one of the five bedrooms on the premises, you will find yourself right at home. This home features 2 king beds and 5 queen beds, providing plenty of space for all guests in your party. If you snag the upper-level primary bedroom, you will be lucky enough to enjoy your own access to the upper deck and an ensuite bathroom with an oversized shower featuring two shower heads & a jetted tub. Get up in the morning, step outside to the cool morning breeze, and enjoy your coffee, taking in the serene lake sounds – what a way to wake up!
