Your hosts are 3 sisters who want to preserve our family home. It is our pleasure to share it with you to enjoy the beautiful lake, and the quiet peaceful surroundings. Enjoy sipping coffee each morning while watching wildlife and seeing early morning fishing boats. You have full access to fishing rods, large lilly pad float, large umbrella, and folding chairs for the pier. Our house is located on the open channel, a very rare rental to find. So you get to enjoy all the passing boats and swim right at the dock. There is a ramp for easily launching your canoe, paddle boards and kayak (you are welcome to bring those). Bring your boat only if you can trailer it for same day put-in and take-out at the Swift Island Boat Ramp (3 miles away) or Lilly's Bridge (10 miles away). WE DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO TIE OFF YOUR BOAT OR YOUR BOAT RENTAL AT OUR PIER. If you want a guided pontoon boat tour on the lake, that is available and I can share the contact with you. The home is immaculate and well maintained, situated on over 3 acres with 300' of pristine waterfront ready for your enjoyment. The pictures speak for the property and showcase the quaint preserved feeling of a well-loved lake home. Lake views from all common areas and 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and sunrise views year-round. The sunset will light the entire lake orange in the evenings! Unique features of the lake house are endless. Should you decide not to cook, there are several take-out possibilities in Albemarle, Norwood, and Mt. Gilead, all within a 10 min drive.• The upstairs bedroom and private bathroom was the original master bedroom/bath. This large bedroom sleeps 4 in beds and 2 additional on two fold out single chair futons.• 2 Desks for school or work while relaxing at the lake• LARGE paved driveway and carport parking• Boat trailer parking on property• Lake front fire pit area • Large Charcoal grill, and large Blackstone griddle grill• Dock chairs, umbrella, life jackets, floats, large floating mat “Lilly Pad”, fishing rods.• 20’ x 20’ screened in porch!• Blink outdoor video security system for your safety• Walmart and Grocery stores (Aldi, Food Lion, Harris Teeter) 10-15 min drive• Morrow Mountain State park 10 min drive• Uwharrie National Forrest/park 10 min drive• Many local wineries • Albemarle has a cute downtown area with breweries and dining
