Recently renovated and updated with brand new appliances, newly landscaped yard, fully stocked chef's kitchen, modern furniture, expanded deck and a gas fireplace. This bright, light-filled home, surrounded by trees, is a great place to bring the family or meet up with friends. Sit in the backyard and grill some Walleye on the deck, go for a bike ride (Nice Ride, bike rentals available right across the street) or walk to one of the many local restaurants for a meal. In the winter snuggle up with a book and some tea after ice skating, in front of our new gas fireplace. Located in the Standish- Ericsson Neighborhood, on Lake Hiawatha with Minnehaha Parkway and Lake Nokomis only a short distance away. You can ride bikes to the Falls or go the other direction towards the Lake Harriet Rose Garden or the Harriet Bandshell for some live music. There are so many outdoor activities to take advantage of: tennis, golf, swimming, boating, fishing, and walking paths all right outside your door. In the winter there is an ice skating rink and cross country ski trails groomed and ready for fun. If you need to work while visiting, there are two workstations and the home is equipped with high speed fiber optic WiFi. Home Layout: Primary Bedroom: King Bed Top Floor Bedroom 2: Full Bed (and desk) Bedroom 3/Main Floor: Queen Bed (and desk) Bedroom 4/Lower Level: Queen Bed Full Bath w/shower on top level and lower level. Main floor has a half bath. INDOOR LIVING: Gas fireplace, flat-screen TVs in Living Room and lower level, sunroom/indoor porch with view of yard and park, air conditioning and heating. OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE: Furnished deck with umbrella and seating for 8, new Weber gas grill, and fenced-in yard. Across the street from a lake, playground, splash pad/kiddie pool, bike rentals, walking and biking trails, tennis courts and huge park. Public Golf Course within walking distance. Ice skating, hockey, cross-country skiing, and ice-fishing right across the street. KITCHEN: Fully equipped, family-style dining table, PLUS bar seating for 4, stainless steel appliances, microwave, toaster oven, electric teapot, salad spinner, sharp knives & more. PARKING: 3 dedicated parking spots on site and free street parking CLOSE BY: brand new grocery store, an ice cream parlor, coffee shops, bakeries, a wine & spirits store, and many restaurants - all close enough to walk or ride to.
