4 Br Lake George Waterfront Home W/ Dock, Rocking Porch, & Spectacular View "Fernwood" is a well kept classic 4 br 2 bath Adirondack log and stone home on the lake with everything you need for a relaxing stay with family and friends. 1 mile north of the Silver Bay Association, originally built in the 40's and added onto in the 70's, the current owners have been diligent in updating and improving the home and property since purchasing it in 1987. Main floor has a galley kit, encl dining porch with views of the lake, living/dining rm w/ classic stone fp and cathedral ceiling. Like all great lake homes, there is the classic wooden screen door to the large covered porch with 6 Adirondack rockers and a pedestal table for enjoying lunch or cocktails in the warm breeze. Lower lvl living rm has a pullout couch, big views, and access to sunny slate patio with Adirondack chairs and a hammock overlooking the lake. Bedrooms: 1st floor has a full bath, 2 twins, 1 queen bed in south facing brdm. Second floor has bath with shower, queen bed rm, and the master w custom framed queen bed and cathedral ceiling and windows overlooking the lake. All bedrooms have window A/C units.
