Built in the 1920s, Knot Hole offers guests a charming, intimate, true Adirondack log cabin experience with modern amenities. Located in the highly sought-after Rainbow Beach Association on gorgeous Basin Bay, The Knot Hole is located just south of Bolton Landing and eight miles north of Lake George Village.Knot Hole comes with a designated boat slip for your boat or a rental, up to 25 feet in length, allowing guests to boat into Bolton Landing or Lake George Village for an afternoon or evening of dining and shopping, fishing, and excursions to Lake George’s pristine islands campsites. Jet Skis are not allowed. In addition, the cabin comes with a canoe and access to all shared Rainbow Beach Association amenities, including a sandy beach, a large designated swimming area with a sandy bottom, a swim dock and raft, pickleball, tennis, basketball shuffleboard courts, swings, and a play fort with a climbing wall and slide.Knot Hole is a charming, intimate single-story log home decorated in antiques and vintage rugs. The cabin, which sleeps six, features two bedrooms and one bathroom with a large shower. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a closet. The intimate living area features two built-in sofas, which can accommodate additional sleeping arrangements, two armchairs, and a wood-burning fireplace. The living/dining rooms share one space, allowing the fireplace to be enjoyed while at the dining table. Knot Hole cabin’s original exposed log walls, wood-beamed ceiling, and large flagstone fireplace are indicative of a bygone, Adirondack era.Start your morning with a cup of coffee or enjoy a cocktail before dinner on the screened-in porch furnished in rustic handmade, twig willow furniture or on the flagstone patio just off the kitchen with its glass table and chairs, a gas grill and a wood-burning chiminea.A short walk to the lakefront brings you to the association playground, tennis, shuffle, and pickleball courts, beach, swimming area, your designated boat slip, and stunning views of Basin Bay and the mountains beyond. Put your toes in the sandy beach where children love to play for hours. Swim out to the raft or spend the day reading on the long swim dock.
