Escape to the Woods: 4-bedroom country house with hot tub spa, sauna, fireplace Located 1hr 20min from the George Washington bridge on 10.5 acres of mostly woods, half mile to the center of the hamlet of Mountain Dale (10 min walk or 1 min drive), this large, 3800 sqft country house/mini estate is a dream house. On the first floor there are two living rooms, one with a fireplace, the other with an electric piano and game table with board games provided. There is a formal dining room that seats 8-12 people, a large eat-in kitchen with an indoor grill, stovetop, oven and dishwasher. The kitchen door leads out to the back patio where there is a grill and an outdoor dining table that extends and can fit up to 10 people. There is an office with pull out sofa and a half bathroom also on the first floor. On the second floor there are three large bedrooms bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom with separate tub and walk in shower. The second bedroom has a king size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a second full bathroom for the smaller bedrooms. The basement is equipped with a full size pool table, dart board, TV room, exercise room and cedar wood sauna that can easily fit 5 people or more. In town you can find quaint restaurants/bars such as The Dale and Creekside Bar/Restaurant with live music on weekends. We are located 1 hr to Belleayre and 1 hr 20 min to Hunter Mountain. A 15 min drive away is a small ski resort, Holiday Mountain, that is great for learning. Lego Land is 35 min away (32 mi), Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark is a 15 min drive (10 mi), Bethel Woods is a 30 min away (25 miles). Our property is a perfect place to be in any season. Wild animals are nearby and deer are frequent visitors to our lawn. You can enjoy a quiet retreat yearround with central heat and AC.
