Lake Front Craftsman Retreat with water views from every room Set on a private 17-acre freshwater Lake in the bustling village of Patchogue, Long Island, NY. The elevated stance of our mid-century craftsman-style home provides commanding views of sunrise, swans, and a vast variety of birds. With a total of four over sized bedrooms, three offering amazing direct waterfront views and privacy, comfort and convenience the Lake House offers accommodations for up to 10 guests. The Red Room, with its lake views, has a new queen bed with an en suite bathroom. The Blue room offers corner breezes, water views of over 180 degrees, a queen bed, and has a spacious private bathroom with a tub and shower just across the hall. An additional bonus room for larger families offers up to two queen beds (1 inflatable queen) suitable for young adults (over the age of 8 please) this room would share the main hall bathroom with the Blue room, or the red room (if they want to share ) The Master bedroom is on the main level with a wall of windows facing the lake, its warm hand-scraped hickory floors and restoration hardware sleigh bed provides a welcomed retreat. The Master BR has its own renovated modern bathroom, which includes 2 sinks, and a large glass shower, and plenty of storage. Our home has a lakefront dining room with a craftsman table that can accommodate up to 14 people, adjoining is a beautiful living room with plenty of seating to entertain. Our sunken den has floor-to-ceiling windows that face the lake and provides the best viewing of the abundant wildlife that visit us throughout the day. It has a large L shape leather sofa from where you can enjoy the views or simply watch TV on a rainy evening. Cooking in our open-style kitchen is relaxing and you can still entertain while cooking in our 40 ft waterfront room. Our bar height kitchen table offers seats for 4 or more people.We have enjoyed the past 15 years here and now look forward to sharing this hidden gem with you. The Lake House has garnered over 70 5 ***** star awards from guests and we have earned super hosting status from other rental companies. Our home is filled with art, antiques, and accumulations from decades of global travel. You will find all of the comforts of home just steps away in our amazing village. More about that later.
