Get away from the hustle and bustle and experience the beauty of this waterfront cottage. From the gorgeous, gently sloped, large yard, enjoys views of an unoccupied private island and the pristine lake. The cottage is nestled in a peaceful and serene wooded setting, directly on Trout Lake. It boasts beautiful whitewashed tongue and groove pine throughout with beautifully pitched ceilings that add a comfortable feel and warmth while maximizing the view of the Adirondacks.The predominantly upstairs living has:* Upstairs loft living room, kitchen and breakfast nook as well as a Queen and Full bed.* Base level- garage portion has a bunk bed with full-sized bed on bottom and twin on top, a sofa conversion bed that converts to a Queen or 2 Twin Beds. It also has a game/common area with seating.* Outdoor area- you will enjoy a large private yard, gas grill, picnic table, and fire pit with seating. There is almost 80 feet of water frontage with a wooden dock with plenty of room for your boat or jet ski. No boat or jet ski? Enjoy the lake with any of the provided paddle board, 2 sit on top kayaks, 1 sit in kayak, an 18-foot canoe, and paddle boat.The lake water is clean and clear. You can swim off the dock, although it is fairly shallow and has some muck/sediment. Enjoy 2 sandy and quiet state beaches that only have hiking or waterfront access. We encourage and appreciate your “5 STAR Review” and strive to deliver exactly as pictured/described/priced. This is not a $20M resort so please do not compare and rate as a comparison. This is a wonderful rustic cottage that most families will love. We will help in anyway we can within time and reason and go the extra mile for you.Click the calendar link to see the available dates. If a full 7 days in not what you’re looking for please send an inquiry as I may be able to break up a week.The following are some items to familiar yourself with the cottage:FIRE PIT- some of the best time is spent with a hoodie and some bug spray next to a fire pit. Family, friends, and s’mores cannot be beat. Keep late night shouting and loud music to a minimum to keep neighbors happy.WATER FUN- keep the ski boats slow in the “no wake zone” near shore. This allows safety for swimmers. Keep faster speeds for the open lake and deeper water. There is a state park with a sandy beach that is directly across the lake and easy to reach via boat/kayak/canoe. There are long hiking trails from the county road to the State Beach but is easiest to access via water. Rock Island is nearby the state beach. Enjoy jumping of the rocks into the deep water below!Enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, snowmobiling, and hunting all from one cozy spot with a beautiful view!
