It's the perfect spot for a weekend away, where you can spend your days walking to the beach, attending local events, or getting out on the waters of Chesapeake Bay.This property occupies the first floor only of a 1940s coastal colonial duplex, one that's enviably situated in the heart of charming North Beach. So much is at your fingertips here, including the beach itself, a local bakery, and a brewery within blocks. As one of the closest shore towns to Washington, D.C., North Beach is a marvelous place to attend a wedding, charter a boat from one of the nearby marinas, or have fun nights out at the local casinos.Thanks to its thoughtful and recent restoration, the house is a delightful blend of modern comfort and rustic-farmhouse warmth. Sunlight seems to find every corner, from the comfortable living room (with ample seating and a TV) into the dining room and country kitchen. Step outside and take summer meals on the spacious, wraparound deck, and linger afterwards in Adirondack chairs around the firepit in the yard. In the evenings, leave the day's swimsuits and towels in the care of the washer/dryer as you retreat to three bedrooms. The primary bedroom includes a desk workspace where you can log onto the complimentary WiFi. Please note that to access the bunk room, you must pass through the second bedroom. Additional perks include beach towels, an outdoor box with beach chairs, a beach wagon, an umbrella, a cooler, and other beach gear that are first come, first served.Things to KnowEach retreat gets two residential season passes good for four people each (eight total per retreat). The cost to enter the beach without a pass is $25 per person. Passes are required from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The boardwalk is open to the public - it's just for the sandy beach area.This Vacasa Guestworks vacation rental is operated and managed locally by an independent host. Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services. If you need anything during your stay, the home’s independent local host is ready to help 24/7! Guestworks is a service offering of Vacasa that allows homeowners to manage their own properties smoothly and efficiently.If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.Security camera details: There is one outdoor security camera at the front door.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”).
