Let yourself in with the high-tech Nest keypad and get to enjoying the huge wrap around deck that overlooks the Oak Orchard River. The property provides privacy, and offers direct access to the River via a private walking path down the river bank. Enjoy your time on the creek fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, or just enjoying the beauty of nature. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Enjoy the cozy living room that entertains with a 42" LED smart TV streaming live TV (including all locals) through YouTube TV. Guests are free to sign in to their subscription services to stream their favorite shows/movies. The large sofa sits right in front of the new wood stove and offers perfect sleeping for an additional guest.The cottage has two bedrooms, the first offers a double bed, and the second has two twin beds. The bathroom has tub/shower combo and a separate heating unit for chilly mornings.Bed linens, towels, and WiFi are all included in your stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everyday equipment, pots/pans, and utensils. There is a propane grill on the back deck. Lobster pots and burner are available upon request. Other amenities: dual unit that provides heat and air conditioning, wood stove, fire wood, public water, security system.Check us out on Facebook under Crooked Creek Property!River Access: Guests can access a private walking path down to the water. The path is steep but stoned, flat, and safe. Once at the bottom of the path, guests are welcome to fish from the docks or relax on the boathouse porch.Note: Given the steep path, good balance is required, and walking the path is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. However, with advance notice, we can provide transportation up/down from the river via UTV.
