Camp Oxbow on Rainbow Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains Camp Oxbow started as a 19th Century log cabin, and now with new and modern conveniences you can enjoy beautiful views of a private Adirondack lake. Camp Oxbow has it all - plus a sandy waterfront. Tucked away on a bay in the southwest corner of Rainbow Lake, Camp Oxbow offers scenic views from upstairs and from the broad screened porch, and easy swimming out front. Original hand-hewn timbers and a cobblestone fireplace in the great room add authentic charm. The handy kitchen has maple cabinets built by an Adirondack craftsman. Camp Oxbow offers your choice of relaxation amid the pines, hiking up Buck Hill or to Jones Pond, and canoeing along Forever Wild waterways. Sightseeing favorites are within a short drive: the Paul Smiths Visitors Center, White Pine Camp, or the Wild Center, to name a few.About Us: Our family has been in the hospitality industry for over 5 generations and our restaurant/motel is soon to celebrate 200 years in existence.
