At an elevation of about 1,910 feet, the surrounding hills, peaks, and valleys ranging from 1,700 to 6,900 ft elevations create beautiful peaceful vistas in all directions. As you make your way down the long private drive from the road to the house, you’ll fall in love with the natural landscape and uniquely remote location.It’s worth mentioning the science behind the property’s uniquely beautiful landscape. The Sierra Nevada foothills is a region known for its varied biomes, but this specific property is even more distinct. Geologically, the property is practically on the line between Sierra Nevada’s lower batholith and the metamorphic belt of the upper foothills. These different types of bedrock result in varying mineral deposits and soil types, which lend themselves to different types of vegetation. As a result, the property itself fosters FOUR separate state-sanctioned vegetation classes, each of which has its own diverse ecology.
