The primary bedroom features an on-suite bath, large window and huge walk-in closet. The secondary bedroom also features a large window and walk-in closet. Radiant in-floor heat and electric fireplace insert and all the insulation of new construction keep the home cozy in the winter and the classic southwestern saltillo tile and abundant windows and fans keep the home comfortable in the warmest summer months. A short drive to the northwest includes the famous Rio Grande Gorge Bridge overlook, unparalleled Earthship Biotecture community and the Carson National Forest. The high desert is home to unique flora and fauna that can be explored on some of the areas hiking and mountain trails or off-road recreation. Taos is art – while wandering the streets of downtown you’ll find art and its Native and southwestern influences surrounding you in the shops, galleries and museums. Visit Taos Pueblo the only living Native American community designated both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. From museums and historic churches to the Taos Plaza and the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument, Taos has many wonderful landmarks to explore.
