It includes all the amenities you could need - including boogie boards, bicycles, beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas. The Cottage has an expansive open ocean and beach view and sits just above the shores of Moran Lagoon. Just a skip and a jump from the main beaches, yet tucked away just enough for privacy.The Space:- Comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults- 1 bedrooms + a bonus room with a Queen bed+ separate cottage- 1 bathroom w/ a small shower - 2 parking spaces available in the driveway. Street parking is not available on this road.- Fully stocked kitchen w/ drip coffee maker- Living room- Yard with hot tub, BBQ, and outdoor seating- Back patio with ocean viewNote:- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced)- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.- Television with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable).- NO PETS- There are no screens on the windows to ensure plenty of fresh air, however this does allow bugs to fly into the house if you have the windows open.Guest Access:Guests will have full access to the property with the full patio including the hot tub.The Neighborhood:Pleasure Point is a beloved coastal neighborhood. Known for its world-class surfing, laid-back ambiance, and breathtaking ocean views, it's a haven for beachgoers and water enthusiasts. The iconic surf breaks like "The Hook" attract surfers from around the world. This vibrant community boasts a unique blend of surf shops, cafes, and local boutiques. Stroll along East Cliff Drive, savor fresh seafood, or catch a mesmerizing sunset from the cliffs. With its bohemian spirit and proximity to the lively Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Pleasure Point offers a quintessential California beach experience.This is a very quiet, family neighborhood. It is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.Getting Around:- Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk + Main Beach (15 minute drive)- The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park (20 minute drive)- Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (25-30 minute drive)- The Mystery Spot (20 minute drive)- Capitola Village (5-10 minute drive)- Monterey Bay Aquarium (1 hour drive)- Nearest grocery store - Whole Foods, New Leaf, Safeway (5-10 minute drive)- Moran Lake Beach (5 minute walk)Other Things to Note:- There are no screens on the windows to ensure plenty of fresh air, however this does allow bugs to fly into the house if you have the windows open.- Please note the shower in the bathroom is quite small.- We have landscapers, pest service, hot tub, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.Interaction with Guests:OVR is local in Santa Cruz and available for questions at any time!
