This beautiful Ranch home is located just North of the town of Rodeo New Mexico, and just NE of Portal Arizona. It is situated with the Peloncillo Mountains to the East and the Chiricahua Mountains to the West, so it is surrounded by Beautiful Mountains.Large open kitchen open to the Living room and breakfast nook, also has nice dining room. This unit has two living rooms with lots of room. Sleeps 8+ easily, fully furnished including washer and dryer.The area is known for it's unique Birds, and Birders come from all over the world. It is also one of the darkest parts of the United States and there is a huge Astronomy Community here for Sky Gazing activities. There are light restrictions in the evenings and over night as to not disturb the Astronomers who are viewing or imaging.The surrounding community is very unique and diversified. The area is home to the Southwest Research Center. Activities include Hiking, Horseback Riding Bird watching, Sky Gazing, Rock collecting, Animal watching, and there are many Indian Artifact found locally.The area is where the Indian Geronimo lived and surrendered after many battles. The mountains are full if Pictographs and Petroglyphs. The sun shines 330 days per year. We have the best sunrises and sunsets anywhere. The most beautiful and scenic area of all Arizona and New Mexico.You can also if you choose to, fly in to NM90 Amigos Del Cielo 6000' dirt runway for a weekend getaway!!! We are right in the middle of the Airpark!!! Hangar space can also be available!!!A well behaved Dog is allowed, with permission, and a $100 Pet Cleaning Fee added.
