Stunningly situated near the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, this is a wonderful place for boating, hiking, skiing, and making lifelong memories in the great outdoors.This two-story home sits just up the road from Denton Slough, on an open and expansive piece of property with sweeping views. Featuring a dock and private waterfront, you're sure to have a glorious day spent out on the water. You'll also be less than three miles from Sam Owen Campground, a great spot to launch a boat on Lake Pend Oreille, swim at the sandy beach, observe wildlife, and fish for kamloops, Dolly Varden, northern pike, trout, and catfish. Downtown Sandpoint (21 miles) and the slopes of Schweitzer (29 miles) are within an easy, scenic drive as well.After a day on the water, you can relax on the expansive front deck. Soak up the view, watch your kids and dogs play in the yard (part of which is fenced), and snack on a few appetizers as the sun sets behind the mountains.As you step inside the main living space, you'll be greeted by three walls of glass framing the gorgeous mountain setting. Curl up in the warmth of the woodstove, set up a board game at the dining room table, or stream a favorite movie on the smart TV. Just around the corner is a polished kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast table, and a laundry nook by the back door. Of the bedrooms, one is a primary suite on the main floor with its own smart TV, three-season porch, dressing room, and bathroom. Three additional bedrooms (one with an en suite bathroom) await upstairs.THINGS TO KNOWPlease respect the serene environment around you. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am.If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.Security camera details: There is a Ring camera at the front entry door.Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
