Built over three floors, the first floor comprises an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. There is a relaxing sunroom overlooking the wide, outside-deck, which streams in the light of the rising sun as you sip your morning coffee. The kitchen is generously equipped with full sized appliances, a coffee machine, toaster oven, toaster, and two drinks fridges, and the expansive island provides a superb space to socialize while preparing dinner. The front porch serves as a space to watch birds, butterflies, and wildlife activity in the nature preserve across the street. It also affords the very best views in town of the famous Cape May sunset. The first bedroom on the main floor has a Queen bed with an attached en suite. The second bedroom has a Queen sized sofa pull out bed. In addition to the two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the first level, a pool table, a separate laundry room and food pantry ensure that you have everything you need for a comfortable, carefree stay. The second floor comprises three additional queen bedrooms, with a Jack & Jill style full bathroom between two of the rooms, and an ensuite half-bathroom off of the third bedroom. There is also the large master bedroom with a California King bed and an attached en suite with walk in shower. All bedrooms are equipped with Roku TVs and amazing views. The third floor 'bedroom' comprises of a charming loft space with a high end futon. With a Roku TV, Xbox, game chairs, drinks fridge, and incredible views of the nature preserve, the ocean, and the famous Cape May lighthouse, this is a fantastic area for the kids to hang out. Outside, the yard is private and fenced in. There is a patio with firepit and grill, and an outdoor shower. Overlooking the world-famous Cape May Nature Preserve, which comprises 200-acres of coastal birdwatching sanctuary, and features trails through beaches, wetlands & dunes, you will immediately feel the tension melt away as you reconnect with nature. A charming 15-minute walk through the Nature Preserve brings you to Cove Beach, one of the best beaches on the New Jersey shore, where you will find frolicking dolphins and sun-kissed surfers making the most of this incredible location. The surroundings are awash with interesting activities, outstanding restaurants, festivals, and special events which happen all year round in Cape May. Some things just get better with age, and charming Cape May is no exception. This historic Victorian seaside gem is the oldest resort, and one of the most exquisite spots in the country.
