The view of the mountains are sure to mesmerize you whether you are cozying up on the wrap around outdoor deck or relaxing comfortably indoors as you gaze through the expansive 30 foot high windows that perfectly frame the Snowbird Mountains. Dine in or outdoors at the family friendly dining tables. Your hot tub stands on its own deck to provide both the privacy and proximity to the mountains. This hot tub placement also improves the safety to young children as the cabin deck is gated such that you can provide separation between young children and the hot tub. The loft area of Big Foot Lodge was designed with kids and adults in mind. The bunk bed offers a single bed on top and an expandable lower bed that can support up to a King Size. Additionally, the loft provides a pull out bed from the couch offering another full bed. The loft if supported by a large full bathroom, includes a 70 inch and a 55 inches TV and has its own beautiful views. Did you arrive in your Tesla or compatible electric car? If so, our on site Tesla charger will keep you powered up for exploring the many sites that are short drive from your lodge. Wander down to our pond with outdoor fireplace and be sure and grab one of the fishing poles provided. Feel free to cast and catch the brim and large mouth bass that populate our pond. Ready for some outdoor activity? Our lighted sport court invites you to play basketball, pickleball or other sports that require a court and you will find corn hole along with plenty of space to play in the yard or on the deck, locate at the cabin. A short drive will bring you to hiking, biking and equine trails that permeate the area and for a bit more excitement, enjoy the Nantahala Outdoor Center white water rafting, zip lining and many other activities they offer. For those wanting to experience some of the country’s best trout fishing, you will find an endless supply of streams for fly fishing or maybe the family wants a day on the water. Nearby lake Santeelah, Nantahala and Fontana offer boating opportunities with rental facilities available. Or maybe motorsports is your love. Bikers and sports car enthusiasts travel from across the country to experience the “Tail of the Dragon” offering 300+ curves in a short 11 miles. Weather not behaving? Our electronic game table by Arcade1 Up offers hundreds of family friendly games including many of the classics like Uno, Monopoly, Risk, Battleship, Spades, Sorry, Operation, Texas Hold’em and many more. Take in a movie powered by our Sonos sound system that will put you in the middle of the action or take a seat under our covered deck are and enjoy the dance of the clouds, mountains and rains. You’ll find comfortable outdoor seating to curl up and relax. The firepit situated in the front yard is likely one of the largest you will ever experience! Feel free to build a massive bonfire as firewood is provided and ready. If it’s been dry, be sure to assure there isn’t a burn ban in our area before lighting up that fire. You will find a smaller Solo fire place on the deck for a more intimate fire. For some outdoor card game time, carefully lift the table top off the circular outdoor table to expose the card game table. You’ll find full set of chips and cards to support whatever card game you have in mind. Need more to do? Inquire about our professional golf simulator and arrange a reservation to play one of the 30 awesome courses (not to mention other fun games) our simulator has to offer. The simulator is a 2 minute walk up the hill from your cabin. Our lodge is designed to encourage everyone to explore and have fun outdoors while offering all the indoor amenities and games to keep everyone happy.
