Dramatic three-bedroom post and beam home is a secluded retreat nestled in the Cape Cod National Seashore. * * * * See end of this description for information about free included activities, Kinlin Grover's cancellation/refund policy and more! * * * *The two-plus bedroom home and one-bedroom guest house sit atop a 5-acre Griffin Island lot on a bluff overlooking Duck Harbor, Great Island and Wellfleet Harbor beyond. Take in the stunning 180 degree view from the home's many windows and large deck. MAIN HOUSEEnter the main home to a well-appointed kitchen with sub zero refrigerator and Jenn Air cooktop. Off one side of the kitchen there is a dining area and off the other, a desk with a closet containing the washer and dryer. Enter the spacious, open living room with soaring ceilings, large windows, polished wood floors and two doors opening to the wrap-around deck. The living room has comfortable seating and a large flat screen television with satellite TV (Dish) and satellite internet/WiFi (Hughes)*. The open second floor balcony surrounds the living area on three sides giving the space a lodge-like feel. There is one bedroom on this first floor with two twin beds and a private exit to the patio. There is a full bathroom (shower only) off the kitchen. Another exterior door off the living room leads to the walkway to the carriage house. Stairs lead to the open balcony on the second floor where large windows frame the expansive view of Cape Cod Bay to Provincetown. The private master bedroom on the second floor has a queen bed and a private balcony overlooking Great Island. There is a second full bathroom on this floor with shower only and an amazing view of Duck Harbor. Another set of stairs leads to a bright alcove with futon, skylights and a door to a deck with even more stellar views. Don't miss the stunning sunsets from this lofty perch. Please note: this property does not have air conditioning. The main house has a wrap-around deck with outdoor table and chairs, lounge furniture and gas grill. Outdoor shower (not enclosed) beneath the deck.GUEST HOUSEThe separate guest house has a living area with queen sleep sofa and flat screen TV, kitchenette and half bath on the first floor and a bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom with shower and tub on the second. Follow to the end of the road to the path to the beach at the Gut--a little over 1000 feet from the property. Six-minute drive to Wellfleet's Main Street for shops, galleries and restaurants. Six-minute drive the Wellfleet Harbor for dining, the town pier and Mayo Beach.
