Spacious, Air Conditioned Modernist Gem: Ideal for multi-generational vacation. Enjoy your next Wellfleet vacation in a luxurious modernist home, perched up Newcomb Hill, near town and beaches. Designed by Alan Dodge, it is open, filled with windows and light, masterfully geometric, and blends beautifully into the surrounding woods. You enter to a great room decorated with a midcentury, non-fussy sensibility. The kitchen is open, fully equipped, and lends itself perfectly to group cooking and cocktails. Eat your meals in the spectacular screened-in dining room. Outside there are wrap-around decks, a Weber gas grill, and two flagstone patios with flower gardens and a running koi pond. And best of all, the outdoor shower is set away from the house and gives you a sense of communing with nature while still affording privacy. There is a comfortable den with a flat screen tv, apple streaming box, and blue ray player. The house is stocked with books, games, puzzles and movies as well as WIFI, washer-dryer, beach chairs, and a top-of-the-line sound system. A two person kayak is available for your use. The house is fully air conditioned.The house has five bedrooms, each with access to outdoor space. Three have queen size beds and one can be configured as two twins or one king bed. A library off the great room can be transformed into a fifth bedroom, with a very comfortable deluxe queen size inflatable mattress or two portable cots. The unique design of the house allows for privacy in each bedroom. PLEASE NOTE: There is a 7 night minimum stay and check in/out is on Saturdays only.
