This home is wheelchair accessible and has a dedicated disabled parking space. Enjoy the new swing on the wrap around porch and Pac-Man/Galaga arcade machine!Enjoy the privacy of your own space in this newly renovated Historic Cedar Rapids home, locally known as the Kurik House. This unit is on first floor of the house and is wheelchair accessible. There are 2 dedicated parking spots and an additional disabled parking spot. Roadside and parking lots are options for additional cars, trailers, etc. Be sure to read the history of this house in the living room.This is a historic home built in 1910 and we fully renovated it in 2019. Due to the older construction, the floors are thin and it is expected that you can hear people walking in the upstairs unit, or washer-dryer running. This is similar to apartment complexes and if you believe that this may be an issue for you, you might want to pack earplugs or please consider booking our upstairs unit or the whole home.The home is stocked with helpful amenities and little luxuries and is the perfect place to call home for a weekend, or more extended stay.The home is bright and sunny with plenty windows that bring the outdoors in and offer views of the surrounding with beautiful sunsets. Make yourself at home on the private wrap around deck with a glass of wine or take a few steps to many of the restaurants and shops in Newbo. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen or start your day with a variety of Keurig coffee and tea selection offered. A variety of games and books are available to enjoy or cozy up at night in front of the two large smart TVs (one in living room and another in one of the bedrooms) and stream your favorite movies with complimentary WI-FI via fiber optic internet.Enjoy a great night's sleep in queen size beds so decadently comfortable that you will not want to leave. Crisp linens, luxe pillows and echo dots for music, alarm, and white noise await you. Plush Turkish cotton bath linens and toiletries are provided. Feel completely secured while you sleep or step away from the house with ring security system and automated locks.This is also a great place to stay while on work travel and for traveling nurses.
