Our cozy and charming log cabin is set right on the shore of the Serene Lakes (Lake Dulzura to be exact) where you can disconnect from your day-to-day stress and relax for a while.No matter when you visit, there's plenty to see and do at our adorable home that includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher & microwave, a dining table for six, and an inviting living area with exposed beam ceilings, comfortable furniture, and a warming wood stove—the perfect spot to stoke up the fire and dive into a good book while the snow falls on the lake. There is also a washer/dryer for your convenience and an outdoor balcony.During the summer months, relax on your furnished back deck, fire up the gas grill, and enjoy the view! The area is perfect for hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. And for even more watersports and other lake activities, this vacation rental is less than 10 miles from the shores of Donner Lake and only 27 miles from Lake Tahoe. If you're visiting in winter, head up to the Soda Springs Mountain Resort, a wonderful destination for families with children, less than two miles north, or hit the slopes at Sugar Bowl, located less than seven miles east.Things to know: Towels and bed linens are provided. Free WIFI (though homes in this area have slower WIFI for basic web surfing but not great for Zoom/video conferencing.) .
