The Cottage is for guests who are looking for a quiet get-away or retreat in a natural setting, and is just 1 hour from St. Paul, Minnesota.The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (with complimentary teas, coffee and delicious, clean well water), a casual dining area, a living room with wood stove, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with a spa tub) and a covered front porch. The living room, dining room and kitchen occupy a bright, open floor plan and are fully tiled. The two king bedrooms have wood floors and large windows. Additionally, the living room has a queen sleeper sofa plus several other chairs and a small library. All rooms offer excellent views of the surrounding hills and woods. The 33-acre property affords guests opportunities for biking country roads, as well as hiking our trails that pass through prairies, woodlands and hills. Enjoy bird watching by day andstar-gazing the wide-open, dark skies at night. You will have a private grill and a shared campfire area with seating.Many nearby attractions are available to our guests including art galleries, restaurants, unique shops and wineries. There are bountiful opportunities for driving or biking scenic roads along the Mississippi or back country into the hills of The Driftless Region of Western Wisconsin.
