Cozy Cabin with Mountain Views in Divide Summary:This serene cabin is located in the forested peaks of the Rocky Mountains near Colorado's Pikes Peak. It's the perfect retreat for a couple or small group. If you want a quiet weekend with great views, or a trip full of hiking, or ATVing this is a great location. And the deck is the perfect place to unwind and take in the view at the end of each day.The Space:The house is set up with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, internet, and a stocked bathroom.There is a full bed in the upstairs loft, and a queen sized pull out couch.The living room has a wood burning stove.There is private parking with a large driveway (you could pull a trailer). There is no garage.There is an outdoor deck with a propane grill.Linens and towels are provided as well as a basic starter kit of household supplies. Feel free to ask exactly what's included in your reservation.Heat only, no A/C.Dogs only are allowed with $50 pet fee.Cell service is very limited. Satellite wifi is available but connection/availability may vary based on weather, poor signal, etc. Speeds range from 1-5 Mbps. Please be prepared for possible outages.Guest Access:Guests will have access to the whole house.The Neighborhood:This home is located in the serene, mountainous forests of the Pikes Peak region. You can access Pike National Forest right outside the back door! Please be aware of wildlife in the area, local fire restrictions and please also be aware of the altitude and the affects altitude can have. This home is around 9100 feet.Getting Around:You'll want a vehicle to get in and around the area. you will need 4 wheel drive and high clearance during the winter months. There is no public transportation in this area, and ride share services are limited.Interaction with Guests:While I won't be at the house, I'm just a call or text away. If you need help at the home, I'm not far away.
