If you are looking for a relaxing vacation far from traffic and noise but still want to have a variety of activities to choose from, this is the place you want to spend your vacation. When you wake up in the morning and see the beautiful mountains out of your window, you will know why this area is called ‘Paradise Valley’. The view is breathtaking of the whole Valley! There is a bakery, general store, post office and three restaurants within one half mile. Recreational opportunities include hiking, biking and Blue Ribbon trout fishing for native Cutthroat and Brown Trout on the world famous Yellowstone River. The Yellowstone River is only 1/2 of a mile from your front door! There are also several hiking and biking trails accessing the Galatin National Forest. In the winter, these trails can be accessed for cross country skiing. Bridger Bowl ski area is under an hour drive away. World famous Chico Hot Springs is only three miles away. There you will find a wonderful, large, relaxing hot pool which is drained nightly and filled with fresh warm mineral water daily. If you have any problem with achy joints, you will most likely find relief here. Chico Hot Springs also hosts a 5 star restaurant for which reservations are recommended. Their number is 1-800-HOT-WADA. Avalon Villa 11 B, built in 2006, is approximately 1200 sq. feet. The villa contains: Airconditioning Free WIFI Fully equipped kitchen Living room Flat screen television with vcr/dvd large assortment of movies Washer and dryer 2 full bathrooms 2 bedrooms--Master bedroom has queen bed. Second bedroom has one queen and one full bed. Linens included.Year around activities available:Summer: Horseback riding (at Chico) Fly Fishing Yellowstone River 1/2 miles away Yellowstone Park, 30 miles away White-water rafting Excellent hiking and backpacking trails close byWinter activities: Sled dog rides Cross-country skiing Down hill skiing (Bridger Bowl Ski area) The ski area includes excellent beginner, intermediate and black diamond skiing! It is 40 miles away. Year around activities: Sightseeing and bird and animal watching.Chico Hot Springs is 3 miles away. Your family will love the pool! After a day of activities, picture yourself relaxing in one of the five leather Lazy Boy recliners in the living room. There are movies to watch and some reading material provided. The recent corona virus has encouraged us to have stepped up our asepsis procedures in doing additional cleaning areas such as hand rails, door knobs, counter tops, television remotes, hand leavers on the Lazy Boy chairs, water faucets, etc with bacteria-virus killing products. These procedures will be done after every guest leaves. This is the perfect place to practice social distancing and enjoy some beautiful scenery. Check in is done by the guest.
