Whether you've come for winter fun, or to enjoy the beauty of the summer months, you are sure to find this cabin and Strawberry the perfect place for a get away. The South Fork of the American River is just steps away. Lover's Leap is a short walk. Sierra at Tahoe is 6 miles up the highway. And of course ALL of the lakes of the Tahoe area are a short drive up Highway 50.- High Speed Wi-Fi (perfect for remote workers)- Discounts for 7 day+ stays (enter dates in calendar to see the discount)A car is a must in Strawberry, however there are several things that you can do just steps from the cabin. The cabin is located along the Pony Express Route. Lover's Leap, Monk's Rock and Slippery Ford are all along the Pony Express Trail. Most of the other hikes in the area will require a car to get to the trail heads.
