Somers is located on the north end of the lake, next to the open space on the North Shore of the National Wildlife Refuge.Yurt living is not for everyone but if you enjoy luxury camping in a beautiful setting, this is the place to stay. The lake is beautiful year around. Mysterious in winter, chilly and aloof in spring, colorful in the fall and irresistible in the summer. Bring your own canoe or kayak for paddling around the lake. The yurt is perfect for relaxing in before and after enjoying the many seasonal activities of your choice. Breakfast is included. In the yurt is a small refrigerator to hold your beverages and snacks and a electric kettle for making coffee or tea. Other meals can be had at the numerous nearby restaurants in Somers, Lakeside, Bigfork and Kalispell.The yurt is not handicapped accessible nor suitable for toddlers due to the steps leading up to the yurt and steep hillside. No smoking or open flames inside the yurt. There is a composting toilet inside yurt. Showers provided in the main house. Picnic table and fire pit at the waters edge, wood provided.
