It is a peaceful and beautiful place to relax, gather with friends and family, or retreat to work on a project. Close to Afton Alps, Stillwater, Hudson, WI, and 3M headquarters. 30 minutes to St. Paul.Great place for biking, hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and downhill skiing at Afton Alps. Beautiful base to explore the St. Croix River Valley and all it has to offer. Cyclists come from all over to bike the hills in Afton. Afton State Park includes river beaches, walking in restored prairies or along the river, and snowshoe and cross country ski trails in the winter. Downhill skiing is 5 minutes down the road. Trout fishing or kayaking in the Kinnickinnic River in nearby Wisconsin. The small town of Afton has a few shops, a wine bar, and a popular ice cream shop. 10 minutes drive to Hudson, WI with unique shops and restaurants. 20 minutes to Stillwater, MN or Prescott, WI. Night cross country ski trails at Lake Elmo. Hiking in nearby Belwin Conservancy 5 minutes down the road. 20 minutes to 3M headquarters.Guests have a fenced in back yard and have access to walking trails on the farm. There is a one car garage.
