Found just 2 blocks from the center of downtown, and only 3 blocks from the lake, the location could not be much better! Even though you will be very close to downtown shops and restaurants, when you're relaxing inside or outside this home, you will feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The home is surrounded by aspen trees in a quieter part of downtown. There is no need to fight traffic or search for parking. You'll have two parking spaces at the home, and from this home you can easily walk anywhere, including to the shores of Grand Lake itself. Also, this cabin is not some dated "rustic" cabin, like so many of other the lodging options found in the Grand Lake area. Instead, this is an updated and stylish cabin with modern finishes, furniture, appliances and fixtures. The living and dining room combine to offer a nicely sized space for smaller groups to gather after a long day full of adventure. The kitchen has beautiful granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a white farmhouse sink, and is fully equipped for those mornings or nights when you don't want to eat out. The bathroom matches the kitchen in quality, with its new tile, pedestal sink, and a lovely claw foot tub. The front porch is a nice place to relax with a coffee, and the front yard is large enough for ladder-ball or other games. Out back, there is a larger deck that accommodates an outdoor dining set and gas BBQ grill. Just off the back deck is a nice fire pit that is surrounded by boulders, seating, and aspen trees. Make sure to bring your marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate! Couples or young families will love this little retreat in the heart of Grand Lake.
