A wildlife suburb property close to downtown, shopping, and trails. Welcome to The Aspen! This centrally located property is close to downtown Woodland Park and Memorial Park. It's a short 10 minute drive to Charis Bible College. This relaxing home is near several restaurants, shops, gas stations, grocery stores, and more in Woodland Park. It's also only a short drive to Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek, and about an hour and a half to ski areas like Breckenridge. You'll enjoy local wildlife at the front and back door, beautiful black starry nights, and a warm fire pit to keep you cozy on the cool Colorado evenings! We would love for you to stay in our cozy home!MASTER BEDROOMOur master bedroom features a king sized bed with a connected bathroom. You'll find a 32" smart TV on the dresser as well as enjoy comfy pillows and extra blankets in the closet should you get cool. There are two luggage racks and a full length mirror for your convenience. Two side table dressers are complete with reading lights.QUEEN BEDROOMOur queen bedroom has two sets of windows letting a ton of natural light in or the room darkening curtains let in no light at all. You'll have a luggage rack, and two chairs to store your personal belongings on as well as a closet with hangers and extra blankets should you get cool. Two side tables are complete with reading lights.TWIN ROOMOur cabin room is decorated to feel like a quaint Colorado cabin. It features two twin sized Jack and Jill beds with a single table and reading light between. You can store luggage and personal belongings on the two luggage racks or in the dresser. You'll find extra blankets and pillows in the closet as well as a white noise maker, baby monitor, essential oils diffuser, pack n play, and toys and books for your kiddos! You'll also find a kids grocery checkout stand complete with food in the hallway closet on the left.LIVING SPACE AND DINING AREAYou'll enter the home in the living area where you'll have a comfy couch, chair, coffee table, and 55" smart TV hooked up to a sound bar. You won't regret the giant front window that gives beautiful forest mountain views or close up views of local wildlife and deer. Under the cabinet are games and books for your enjoyment. The dining table is set for four but can accommodate six with added chairs. HEATING/COOLINGIt is common for mountain homes to not have AC. Typically, our mountain temperatures never raise above 75 and if they do, evenings cool off the temperature real quick. If it gets warm, feel free to open the living room windows and the back patio window to create a cross breeze. Additionally, all the bedrooms have windows. If you are visiting in the winter, our radiant heat and/or our wood burning stove will keep you nice and warm.WASHER & DRYERWe have a washer and dryer that is for your personal use. Detergent is provided. KITCHENThe kitchen is stocked with all the tools and utensils you will need to make some delicious meals. There is a full size refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and waffle maker. And don't forget the Keurig coffee maker! You'll find Folgers coffee in the pantry and typical cooking spices for your convenience. Paper towels, trash bags, dish and hand soap are provided. There are pots, pans, knives, measuring cups and spoons and we have plates, bowls, cups, and silverware for you and also your little ones!BATHROOMThe sparkling clean bathrooms feature a tub with shower. We provide fresh towels, hand towels, and wash clothes as well as enough shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to get you started. There is a hair dryer, and we also provide a few extra rolls of toilet paper.CLEANLINESS...YES!I am a clean freak and so is my housekeeping crew. We really try our best to ensure a comfortable stay. We're not perfect, but we strive for excellence!PARKINGFeel free to park your vehicle/s inside the garage. A garage door opener is not provided so you will need to open the garage from the inside. There is also ample parking in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed.
