Originally part of a lake resort, the architect rebuilt this home in 2013 to resemble the timeless, cleanline silhouette of Cape Cod cottages for his wife. This lakefront property situated on Lake Francis is your opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and trade it for the lake life. Enjoy picturesque views of Lake Francis from the great room, adorned with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. Each of the three bedrooms has an en-suite bath. The primary bedroom also has a large walk-in closet with built-ins for ample storage. The vaulted loft (third bedroom) is lined with windows that provide lakefront views and is a dream spot for your work at home station. A separate, dedicated workspace off the master is also available for more privacy. The high end kitchen is fully stocked with your basic cooking essentials. Relax in the beautifully landscaped yard, screened in porch or get out on the 270 acre lake. The home is located 10 minutes from Isanti, which has all your basic amenities and is just 2 miles from Long Lake. There is complimentary use of a paddleboard, kayak and accompanying life vests, but feel free to bring your own to explore the lake! The lake is a fisherman’s paradise both during the summer and winter. On the north side of the property is a spring that feeds into the lake from the nearby Rum River. Bass and northern can be found here, as well as many other spots on the lake. The year-round fun doesn't stop there! Ice skating and snowmobiles (not included) are possible as well during the winter. Guests have access to the entire house (with the exception of the unfinished basement), yard, dock and lake. The home is accessed by a keyless keypad with a new code for each guest. Lake Francis has a public boat landing, or there is a larger lake to the south (Long Lake) that is also suitable for fishing & swimming. You can park up to 4 cars in front of the garage, so long as you remain on the gravel driveway and clear of the road. Additional noteWe apologize we cannot accommodate your pets.
